Product development workspace with prototypes, sketches and engineering notes

Venture Studio

Company building without the theatre.

We work with a small number of technical founders at a time, moving from problem evidence to a bounded decision before anyone commits to building.

Engagement models

Three ways to work together

Consulting engagement operating environment

Consulting engagement

Structured technical guidance for a founding team, scoped by hours and decision milestones.

Appropriate when

A team that owns delivery but needs an independent architecture, product or operating decision.

Build partnership operating environment

Build partnership

BELTO engineers a defined part of the product under a written scope and milestone plan.

Appropriate when

A founder with validated demand, a named product owner and a bounded build that can be accepted in stages.

Studio venture operating environment

Studio venture

Deeper co-building arrangements, assessed case by case. Terms are never published as standard.

Appropriate when

An unusually strong problem, evidence of founder commitment and a partnership thesis that survives diligence.

No portfolio, exit or performance claims are published until they are documented and approved for release.

Intake path

A five-decision process

Problem evidence first milestone
01

Problem evidence first

We refuse to scope a build before the founder can show evidence the problem is real and the customer exists.

Founder and market fit milestone
02

Founder and market fit

Check commitment, capacity, existing traction and whether BELTO is the right kind of partner for this stage.

Technical feasibility milestone
03

Technical feasibility

A small, inspectable exercise to expose the constraint before a product or platform is committed.

Commercial structure milestone
04

Commercial structure

Document responsibilities, intellectual property, decision gates and termination before money moves.

Build, refer or decline milestone
05

Build, refer or decline

If the evidence does not support partnership, we say so and point the founder to a better path.

Studio principles

What we optimize for

No theatre

Pitch decks, borrowed logos and invented milestones are not a substitute for evidence.

Decision speed

We reach a yes, no or revision faster than most firms reach a second meeting.

Capital discipline

We treat capital as oxygen, not momentum. Spending is tied to a verifiable next decision.

Capacity is intentionally constrained. An intake is not an offer of investment, employment or partnership. We document the proposed structure, responsibilities, intellectual-property position and decision gates before work begins.
