Approach

Shorten the path, then prove it.

Every stage below exists to remove a specific way that programmes lose months. Nothing is ceremony.

  1. 01

    An honest first call

Thirty minutes on the constraint you are actually stuck on. No deck. By the end you should know whether this is work we should take, and if it is not, who or what you should be looking at instead. We do not charge for this and we do not follow it with a sequence of emails.

  2. 02

    Diagnosis before proposal

For anything non-trivial we scope a short, paid diagnosis: read the system, talk to the people who run it, and write down what is true. It ends in a document you own, whether or not you continue with us. Most of the time saved in an engagement is saved here.

  3. 03

A written proposal you can argue with

Scope, exclusions, assumptions, technical approach, milestones with acceptance criteria, price and expiry — in versions, so a change of scope is visible rather than absorbed. You can counter it. Accepting a proposal is a decision you make explicitly; nothing is charged before you authorise it.

  4. 04

    Delivery against milestones

Work runs against agreed milestones with named acceptance criteria. You see progress, files, approvals and billing in one place. Scope changes are priced and approved as change orders; the previous agreement is preserved rather than quietly rewritten.

  5. 05

    Hand-over that survives us

Documentation, runbooks and the reasoning behind the decisions, not just the artefacts. The test we hold ourselves to is whether your team can operate and change the system without calling us. If they cannot, the engagement is not finished.

Commercial posture

How we price and what we refuse

Pricing is quoted per engagement. We publish no rate card, because a day rate tells you nothing about whether a piece of work is worth doing. Fixed price where the scope is genuinely fixed; time-based where discovery dominates; deposits and milestone instalments where the programme is large.

We decline work where we would be the wrong firm, where the timeline only works if somebody lies, where the brief requires a credential we do not hold, or where the request falls under export controls or regulatory authorisations we have not obtained.

Client material is confidential by default. We publish no logo, testimonial, result or case study without written approval.
