This is a fully remote senior role in BELTO Software Services. You will work with a distributed team on consequential client and internal priorities. The work combines hands-on delivery, architecture decisions, peer review, documentation and direct collaboration with commercial and delivery colleagues. We value clear reasoning, secure defaults and systems that remain understandable as they scale. Success means improving the quality and speed of decisions, leaving durable operating assets, and communicating trade-offs before they become surprises. The selection process includes a structured conversation and a practical, role-relevant exercise. We do not use protected personal characteristics in hiring decisions.

Responsibilities

  • Define service level objectives with clients and hold the system to them.
  • Build observability and alerting that catches real degradation and ignores noise.
  • Lead incident response and write blameless reviews with committed actions.
  • Run capacity, cost and performance work before scale becomes an outage.
  • Automate the recurring manual work out of operations.

Requirements

  • Senior SRE or operations experience on production systems with real users.
  • Strong debugging under pressure across application, network and infrastructure.
  • Automation skill in Python, Go or similar.
  • Calm, structured communication during incidents.
  • Currently enrolled at, or holding a degree from, Stanford University or Harvard University.
