This is a fully remote associate role in BELTO Consulting. You will work with a distributed team on consequential client and internal priorities. The work combines market research, thoughtful outreach, discovery, proposal development and long-term account stewardship. We value direct communication, careful qualification and commercial ambition without pressure tactics. Success means improving the quality and speed of decisions, leaving durable operating assets, and communicating trade-offs before they become surprises. The selection process includes a structured conversation and a practical, role-relevant exercise. We do not use protected personal characteristics in hiring decisions.

Responsibilities

  • Research public bodies, budgets, published plans and procurement notices for real openings.
  • Qualify inbound public sector enquiries against BELTO delivery capability.
  • Prepare and proof bid content, tracking every required attachment and deadline.
  • Maintain the public sector opportunity register with accurate stage and dates.
  • Summarise policy or funding changes that affect the pipeline.

Requirements

  • Strong research and writing discipline with attention to formal requirements.
  • Interest in how public technology procurement actually works.
  • Organisation under multiple concurrent deadlines.
  • Comfort asking senior colleagues precise questions.
  • Currently enrolled at, or holding a degree from, Stanford University or Harvard University.
