This is a fully remote director role in BELTO Space. You will work with a distributed team on consequential client and internal priorities.
The work combines market research, thoughtful outreach, discovery, proposal development and long-term account stewardship. We value direct communication, careful qualification and commercial ambition without pressure tactics.
Success means improving the quality and speed of decisions, leaving durable operating assets, and communicating trade-offs before they become surprises. The selection process includes a structured conversation and a practical, role-relevant exercise. We do not use protected personal characteristics in hiring decisions.
Responsibilities
- Set the partnership strategy for the space division.
- Develop senior relationships across agencies, primes and suppliers.
- Structure teaming and collaboration agreements with legal support.
- Align partnership activity with delivery capability and roadmap.
- Report partnership pipeline and progress honestly at board level.
Requirements
- Senior partnership or business development experience in space or defence-adjacent markets.
- Understanding of programme structures, teaming and export considerations.
- Executive presence with technical and institutional audiences.
- Patience with multi-year cycles.
- Currently enrolled at, or holding a degree from, Stanford University or Harvard University.
